Message from President

Tuesday, 09 June 2009

Dear Allied Artists of West Virginia,

The month of June is upon us and we have many opportunities to display our art to the visitors of Charleston.

For those who do not know, FestivALL is happening this month.  Click here for FestivALL information: http://www.festivallcharleston.com/

The Charleston “Art Walk” is going to be held June 25 in conjunction with FestivALL.  Charleston is also going to be having their “ARTGAWK”, a venture where all artists will be able to display their works in the storefronts of Charleston’s downtown for public viewing.

Now, if you have not been able to get your art in any of these events, the “Heritage Towers”, located in Charleston on Virginia Street, one block off of Kanawha Boulevard, is offering wall space for any who wish to show some of their art to Charleston and those who will be partaking in the citywide art events. The “Heritage Towers is willing to display your art for the entire month of June. All Allied Artists, statewide, are welcome to enter pieces for consideration.
For instructions as to how to get your art into the” Heritage Towers” facility. contact me, Newman Jackson, at this email address:   This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it

Thank you.
Newman Jackson
President Allied Artists of West Virginia
