The 2011 New Member Jury Session will be held on Saturday, April 30th at The Art Emporium. Applicants must submit 5 pieces of original art/or craft using techniques appropriate to the medium. Copies made from other artwork or from published photographs are not acceptable. You may work from photographs that you have taken. Work done in workshops under the supervision of an instructor is not acceptable. White mats are preferred.
Five pieces of art must be delivered to Art Emporium at 823 Quarrier Street in Charleston. On the date of jury session, drop off time is 10-11:30. A $30 check and a completed application must accompany art submissions. Pick up time is 3pm.
CD submissions are accepted from applicants who live over 60 miles from Charleston or have an art object that is too heavy to transport. CD entries must be jpeg file format and show art work properly framed for exhibit.
