Deadline for receipt of artworks for the Celebration of Diversity Show.
Newman Jackson (AAWV President) has secured the space at Good News Mountaineer Garage (221 Hale Street) for a show Sept 17 to Oct 14. Artworks submitted for this show will be selected on artistic merit and diversity in style and medium. The exhibit is intended to showcase the diversity in our membership. Space is limited, so not all works will be accepted. Artworks eligible for this show include the following: Works on walls, free-standing works such as sculpture, pottery (artist must provide pedestal).
Those who are interested in displaying artworks should: Send up to three .jpg images (of 3 artworks) to Newman by August 31st. E-mail Newman at

or mail a disc to his address at 1699 Kenwood Road, Charleston, WV 25314. Notification of acceptance or rejection will be made by e-mail or phone. Discs will not be returned.
