“Allied Artists of West Virginia: A Celebration of Diversity” at Good News Mountaineer Garage. Newman Jackson (AAWV President) has secured the space at Good News Mountaineer Garage (221 Hale Street) for a show Sept 17 to Oct 14 (deadline for submissions was Aug 31). The exhibit is intended to showcase the diversity in our membership. A 10% commission from sales will be paid to Good News, the non-profit organization. The gallery space is open from 10am to 6pm. Opening Reception: Thursday, Sept 17, 5 pm to 8 pm. This is also the Charleston Art Walk night. There should be a good crowd. All AAWV members are encouraged to attend. Artists may be asked to help provide refreshments.
