Dianna is a member of West Virginia Writers and Allied Artists of West Virginia, Inc. Her work has been accepted into Tamarack, the WV Cultural Center, the Huntington Museum, the Townhouse Gallery in Sistersville, the Stifle Institute in Wheeling, the Ashland Art Galley, the Dairy Barn in Ohio, the Three Rivers Art Show in Pittsburgh and many more. Her novel “Obscene Notions,” an Appalachian mystery won first place in the WVW Competition and was published in 1996. She has had articles in CountrySide, the Appalachian Journal, Art Works and True Story. She is retired and lives on the side of a mountain in Upper Tract, WV, where she and Richard Vajs raise chickens and goats.
