Workshop Details

Notice to all workshop participants:

Only bring the art supply items that the instructor has on her materials list. These are the only art materials that you will be using for the workshop.

You should not need more than two full sheets of paper. Laurie plans to have you work on 1/2 sheets. You do not need  photo or sketched references. These will be supplied.

Space is very limited at the workshop site. Do not bring large art material bags, carts or boxes.

You are welcome to bring snacks or drinks to share. You may pack a lunch. Sandy has places where we may order in lunch.

There should be on street parking. It is metered. (Tickets are $5.00) I belived that parking is not metered after 6 on Friday. Parking is metered all day Saturday. Sunday on street parking is free.  The meters take quarters.

There is a large parking lot beside Quarrier Diner. It is my understanding that this lot is not used or monitored on weekends. You park there at your own risk. There is a  city parking building a couple of blocks away.

Any questions? Call Brenda at 304 727-3015

Meeting Reminder April 2013

The April 2013 Meeting will be at the South Charleston Library at 6:00pm on Tuesday, April 23rd.  The Executive board will meet at 5:30.  A program will be presented by Zack Hartsog, Gallery Director at Tamarack, at 6:00.  He will speak on the Juring process and presentation of art accepted by Tamarack. A short business meeting will follow the program.

WOW!  What a great show for Art Walk at the Good News Mountaineer Garage!!  Sandra said it was the best show we have had for Art Walk and I agree!  She would especially like to thank Regina Swim and Steven Holsclaw for contacting artists, collecting artwork and hanging a beautiful show.  Also, a big 'Thank You' all the artists who participated and brought refreshments.
