The April meeting will be held on Saturday, April 20, at 11am. Patty Stewart will be doing a presentation on Marketing and Merchandising for in person shows.

Our May meeting is scheduled for Thursday, May 9, at 6pm.    


The AAWV 2024 Juried Exhibit is scheduled to open September 15 at the Parkersburg Art Center. Deadline for submission of entries will be July 12. The exhibit will run through November 2 and is open to all West Virginia artists and all members of TriState Arts Association. Entries must not have been shown in any previous AAWV exhibit.  Download the Prospectus

• NEW MEMBER JURY SESSION: Our next New Member Jury Session will be held April 13. The sessions are held quarterly and are done digitally. Applicants will send photos of 5 of their artworks, both front and back (to show they are wired), along with the application form and payment, either by check or Paypal on the AAWV website. • WEST VIRGINIA LANDSCAPES EXHIBITION: Opening Reception and Awards Ceremony: Sun, March 3, 2pm. Free & Open to the Public at the Culture Center, State Capitol Complex, Charleston, WV. Runs until mid-June. This is the first installation of Inspired: A WV Series of Juried Exhibitions, featuring four different WV themes. Thirteen WV artists, representing nine counties, were selected for the WV Landscapes show, which features 21 pieces of various mediums, including painting, drawing, photography, mixed media, craft, and print. This series of exhibitions will be featured over the next two years in honor of the upcoming 250th anniversary, or Semiquincentennial, of the United States of America. The other three exhibits will be titled Historic Buildings and Structures, Wildlife, and Historic and Prominent West Virginia People.
